Jerry Lewis Leverett, 66, of Huntsville, AL, passed away Monday, October 9th, 2023.

Mr. Leverett is survived by his wife; Martha Leverett, daughters; Kellie Glasgow and Michelle Leverett, son-in-law; Andrew Glasgow, grandchildren; Zachary Leverett, William Glasgow, and Madeline Glasgow, and sister; Lola Windsor.

He is preceded by his parents; Lewis and Betty Leverett, and sister; Joyce Denise Leverett.

Jerry spent 20 dedicated years serving his country as a firefighter in the United States Army before he retired. After his retirement, he began working with the fire department at Redstone Arsenal where he became the fire inspector.  

Visitation will be held Saturday, October 21st, 2023 at Berryhill Funeral Home from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM.  Funeral service will follow in the chapel at 11:00 AM where the Redstone Arsenal Fire Department will render Mr. Leverett his final honors as a firefighter.  The US Army will also be present to render Military honors for his dedicated time in the service.
