Obituary for Mr. George Edwin Lipsey

George “Ed" Edwin Lipsey, 62, of Plant City, Florida, born on October 7, 1957, entered into eternal rest on September 22, 2020. He was a Christian, a boilermaker with Plant City Local 433, and enjoyed his grandchildren, fishing, boating, hunting, and running cows. He is survived by children, Jamie Lipsey (Jennifer) of Bradenton, Kasie Graves (Fred) of Covington, Louisiana, Kayla Lipsey of Clearwater, Ashley Lipsey of Tampa, and Chris Thrasher (Celena) of Plant City; grandchildren, Jaden, Jordan, Cheznie, Trent, Callie, and Asher; mother, Gerry Swilley Madsen (Paul) of Bradenton; stepmother, Marie Lipsey; and sister, Roma Lipsey of Seffner. He was preceded in death by father, George H. Lipsey. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28 at 11:00 A.M. at Hopewell Funeral Home, 6005 South County Road 39, Plant City, where the family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 A.M.
