Obituary for Mr. Bruce C. Blanton

Bruce C. Blanton, 64, a loving husband and father, was called Home on July 18, 2022. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force, and retired from Mosaic Phosphate. He enjoyed the outdoors. Fishing, gardening, and the mountains were among his favorite places to be. But most of all he loved his family. We will miss his quick wit, the ability to tell a good story, and a steadfast devotion to his family. He was preceded in death by mother, Marlene Blanton; and brother, Darryl Blanton. He is survived by wife of 38 years, Carla Blanton; children, Christopher Blanton (Cesar Redaja, Jr.), Robert Clark, and Katherine Bumgarner (Jessie); grandson, Hunter Clark; and father, Osie Blanton. The family will receive friends Friday, July 22 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Hopewell Funeral Home, 6005 South County Road 39, Plant City, where a graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 23 at 10:00 A.M. at Hopewell Memorial Gardens.
